Water Temperature and Low Fuel Warning Alarm

One thing the MGF is susceptible to is the water temperature creeping up before you have noticed, no matter how often you look at the temperature gauge.

The idea of this alarm circuit is to provide both a visual and audible alarm if it all gets too hot. Also included within the circuit is a low fuel alarm for those mornings when you jump in the car for the mad rush-hour dash to work!

Whilst familiar with circuits, I am by no measure an electronics wiz kid, and make no claim to the design. That is not to disown it - but rather to make a declaration of credit where credit is due, and that is to Bruce Caldwell, who provided me with the diagram and photographs. It is on his car, and hopefully, it will not be too long before it is on mine.

Considering the latest spate of over-heating cars mentioned on the BBS, I thought it would be better to get this circuit onto the website as soon as possible.
