Broken clip prevents visor staying open

Nothing can be more frustrating when driving into the sun and the extension part of your visor keeps dropping loose.
Whilst it's relatively easy to remove the complete visor from the car, it is even easier to remove the visor and clip without disturbing the mounting.

Rather than having to purchase a whole new visor, you should be able to get an old visor, and hence clip plate from a local scrap yard.

Once you have replaced the clip plate, simply present the assembly to the main part of the visor and gently press it home.
